There is no shortage of options when it comes to winter in Québec City. In addition to the classics, new developments will come to life in Old Quebec, particularly the Old Port and Lower Town. Here is a taste of what awaits visitors in the coming weeks:

Family Activities in the Old Port

The Québec Winter Carnival is launching an exciting new event that lasts for 34 days! Open during the holiday season, on weekends in January, and throughout the Québec Winter Carnival, the Gougoune et doudoune site is promising thrilling adventures!

An Icy Nightclub in the Heart of Old Québec

Set in a glowing atmosphere, DJs and performers will light up the very first “Icecothèque”, a festive, refrigerated skating rink. A unique experience starting December 20 at the Port of Québec Agora.

Walk Through the Lights

A contemplative stroll will light up the streets of Old Quebec this winter. More than 75,000 lights and 1,000 lanterns will brighten up the German Christmas Market area and the lower town. 5 buildings, 3 staircases, 26 streetlamps and even 68 trees will be illuminated!
