Vienna is poised to be one of Europe’s leading destinations – a vibrant indoor/outdoor city that is multicultural and celebrates its history, music, art, and culinary scene.
2023 will mark the 150th anniversary of Vienna’s World’s Fair (with 12 months of cultural events) and the 300th anniversary of the opening of the palatial museum Belvedere. With more hotels popping up to accommodate every discerning traveler,
Vienna is a must-visit in 2023. Located within walking distance from The MAK, one of the oldest museums of applied arts in the world and the iconic Vienna State Opera, Almanac Palais Vienna will open in February 2023 by Vienna-based brand. The property will be spread across two historic buildings that date back to 1871. Crafted by award-winning interior designer Jaime Beriestain, whose work extends from the Spanish Embassy in Niger to the home of Rolling Stones’ Ronnie Wood, Almanac Palais Vienna will feature 80 suites and 31 guestrooms.
Guests will enjoy an in-house coffee shop, a plant-forward restaurant that uses local ingredients, rotating pieces by up-and-coming Viennese artists, a two-floor wellness area, a 14-meter indoor spa, and 11 meeting and event spaces that accommodate up to 150 guests. In other hotel news, the city welcomed a Rosewood and Amauris in 2022 with a Mandarin Oriental on the way.
