Bangladeshi-American designer and author Nabela Noor recently previewed her debut children’s picture book, Beautifully Me. It is about body image and loving yourself as you are.
The story follows Zubi, a happy Bagladeshi girl excited about her first day of school, but then she starts to worry about her body image after she sees her mother frowning in the mirror and talking about being “too big.” Zubi helps her family see that we can all make the world a better place by being beautifully ourselves.
