The Easter Bunny himself will be posing for selfies as The High Line Hotel and The General Theological Seminary open the seminary’s private cloistered gardens for Easter at Chelsea Square, a complimentary, family-friendly community event.
On Easter Sunday, April 17, 2022, from 10 AM to 12 PM, hop along our bunny trail to festive destinations, including a petting farm of friendly barnyard animals (sheep, donkeys, ducks and, of course, rabbits), a crafting station, a hula hooping extravaganza and a pick-your-own-pinwheel garden. Face painters, balloon twisters and portrait artists round out the fun!
A popular neighborhood event for six years, The High Line Hotel’s Easter party took a hiatus for the past two years, as did the hotel’s complimentary annual Halloween Pup Parade and Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony.
This year, Easter is back bigger and better than ever! Neighbors can come together on Chelsea Square, the city block of tree-shaded lawns between Ninth and Tenth Avenues and West 20th and 21st Streets that serves as the campus of The General Theological Seminary. Enter the Easter event through The High Line Hotel on Tenth Avenue — and stroll through the gardens, where the merriment continues.
