Guests with younger children will definitely want to catch the interactive Swashbuckling Pirate Show. For older tweens and teens, the resort’s watersports are the real attraction. Kids can take out a paddleboard or kayak to use in the resort’s enclosed saltwater lagoon. With adult supervision, they can rent unique pontoon-style paddleboards and kayaks from the marina to take out in the open sea or explore nearby canals.
This age group is also perfect for the trainer for the day at the Dolphin Connection, where kids ages 10 and up can actually work alongside the facility’s real trainers to see what it takes to care of the resort’s pod of bottlenose dolphins. For kids who prefer to be a little more active, the resort has brand new pickle ball courts, as well as tennis, basketball, beach volleyball, a soccer field, and a putting course, just to name a few.
