The Museum of Fine Arts Boston will offer free admission on Saturday, October 9, 2021. This free entry opportunity is in honor of Indigenous Peoples’ Day.
Guests can explore Native American art from ancient Mississippian pottery and Lakota beadwork to more recent works by artists such as Maria Martinez. Starting at 10 am on the Huntington Avenue lawn, families will be able to pick up free corn husk weaving kits.
In addition, the Museum will offer free copies of five picture books to take home, recommended for children of different ages. More information is here.
