The unofficial end of summer doesn’t mark the end of the fun season in Kissimmee, FL. The year-round destination really heats up in the fall, starting with Labor Day weekend celebrations between September 2-5.
The big event for the holiday is the Promenade Sunset Walk Labor Day Weekend Celebration. The event features four jam-packed days and nights of live music, entertainment, DJs, street performers and local food vendors. The backdrop is a vibrant retail and restaurant district filled with unique stores and restaurants selling everything from margaritas to ice cream to Skechers and soaps. The celebration is sponsored by the Embassy Suites by Hilton-Orlando Sunset Walk and Margaritaville Residences-Orlando.
Taking place every Sunday, including September 4, is the farmer’s market at Celebration Town Center. Vendors sell fresh produce and grocery items, plus local crafts and gifts.
