Loews Hotels is giving back to schools and teachers.  The new Loews Loves Teachers program is actively acknowledging the reality of being an educator easing out of the pandemic and how educational institutions are in need of community support.

According to the Washington Post, there is a national teachers shortage, with the number of education job openings surging by nearly 75% this past fall; schools, teachers, and students are doing their best to come back strong, yet they need help.

Loews Hotels agrees that now, more than ever, is the opportune time to lend a helping hand to schools and teachers, and the Loews Loves Teachers program is making contributions that count.

When an educator books a group at a participating Loews Hotel in 2022, they will receive:

  • 2% net guest room revenue credit on all paid and occupied rooms
  • Up to 30% allowable attrition up to the cutoff date
  • Loews Hotels will donate 2% of the guest room revenue to DonorsChoose, where there is option to choose a teacher or school to support.
