Meow Wolf Denver announces its continued support of local Indigenous people with a donation of $1 for every ticket sold on Indigenous People’s Day, October 11, 2021, to the Denver Indian Center.

The group will also invite the public that day to donate goods and supplies to the local Indigenous community, a population disproportionately impacted by the ongoing pandemic. Supplies will be collected outside by the security screening area at Meow Wolf’s Convergence Station, 1338 1st St. Denver, CO 80204, between 10am-6pm.

In Meow Wolf’s first company-wide impact initiative, The House of Eternal Return in Santa Fe, Omega Mart in Las Vegas, NV and Convergence Station in Denver will simultaneously recognize Indigenous People’s Day by donating $1 from every ticket sold and holding a public supply drive to benefit the Indian Centers in their respective communities on October 11. All three locations will also hold an internal supply drive for employees to donate requested items October 4-11.

These efforts join a targeted initiative by Meow Wolf to better support local Indigenous people. This includes establishing an internship program with the Institute of American Indian Arts (IAIA), COVID-19 relief efforts to support the Navajo Nation, Pueblo of Jemez, Pueblo of Cochiti and the Santa Fe Indigenous Center, and opening Denver and Las Vegas exhibitions with Land Acknowledgement Ceremonies and permanent Land Acknowledgement plaques.
