Navagio Beach is on Zakynthos, an island in Greece. This pristine cove is on the northwest shore.
Navagio is also known as Shipwreck Beach because the Panagiotis, a shipping vessel, crashed there in the early 1980s and it’s rusty remains are still there buried in limestone gravel. The beach is surrounded by colossal white limestone cliffs on one side, and crystal clear blue waters on the other, making it accessible only by boat.
Most Zakynthos tour operators run day trips to Navagio. More information is here.
