Pompeii: The Exhibition is open at the Museum of Science and Industry, Chicago (MSI). The exhibit brings to life how people in this ancient city lived, loved, worked, worshiped and found entertainment.
Media is invited to visit the exhibit’s opening day and preview for audiences:
- Immersive multimedia experiences that include a holographic gladiator display and a 4d
- simulation of the eruption of Mount Vesuvius
- 150 artifacts and treasures including: marble and bronze sculptures, jewelry, gladiator armor, weapons, ancient Roman coins
- Full body casts of the volcano’s victims
The exhibition is open through September 4, 2023.
