The JetBlue Soar with Reading initiative tackles the issue of literacy in book deserts, where access to age-appropriate books for kids is limited. This initiative is in it’s eleventh year.

Throughout August and September, kids in select locations and youth programs will be able to access the JetBlue virtual vending machine online and choose up to six books. JetBlue representatives will distribute the books.

These books are free and feature diverse characters and themes, with options in both English an Spanish. Read more about Soar with Reading here.
