Thanks, Camelbak!
My Daystar 16 Hydration Pack ($90) works equally well when I’m hiking, biking or just on the go. The water bladder has a 2.5L capacity and I especially like the way the water tube stays secure and accessible.
This backpack is especially designed for women with a shape that is comfortable and there are plenty of pockets to keep everything in its place—power bars, car keys, phone, battery charger… and the stretch overflow pocket works for that extra layer you always need when you don’t have it. I use the side stretch pocket for a bandana and Buff but it works for an extra water bottle or snacks too.
Another plus: The back is breathable air mesh, so you don’t get to sweaty and it’s partially made with recycled materials. Nice!
It will work for winter sports too! And as all of us are trying to get outdoors with the kids in our lives, consider the Kids’ Mini M.U.L.E. 50 oz hydration pack ($50) – complete with reflective strips and a safety whistle for when they get too far ahead on the trail. It comes in fun colors too.
