A little stretch makes all the difference. I love these Patagonia Joggers because they are comfortable, look good whether in the city or on the hiking trail, have big pockets, are stretchy and even offer 50+ sun protection. You can wear them long or pushed up. ( $79) I’m also a fan of the Stretch Rainshadow Jacket because it is light, packable (it stuffs into a pocket) and is waterproof as well as breathable. It’s backed by Patagonia’s Ironclad Guarantee. The stretch separates it from other rain jackets and makes it more comfortable. In winter, layer it and wear skiing or just outdoors in the snow! ($199)
