While National Dog Day might be everyday to some of us, on Aug. 26 pet owners should celebrate their pups a little more than we already do.

Sitting in the idyllic Mediterranean climate of California’s Central Coast is SLO CAL (San Luis Obispo County) and the perfect destination to venture to with a furry friend. Known for its sprawling vineyards, visiting one of the 300+ wineries is a must for those visiting the county, and, of course, the dog-friendly wineries are a needed addition.
