The Fountainhead Transportation Museum, a 90,000-square-foot facility, is set to open in Fairbanks Alaska in fall 2025.
This museum will combine the collections of the Fountainhead Antique Auto Museum and the Pioneer Air Museum, showcasing over 135 vintage cars, rare aircraft, historic fashion and cultural artifacts. The museum will feature immersive exhibits, restoration displays and modern event spaces, highlighting Alaska’s history of innovation and exploration.
The Fountainhead Antique Auto Museum was originally a private collection that gained popularity and opened to the public in 2009. The new facility will not only offer expanded exhibit space but also aims to become a cultural hub for Fairbanks, hosting events and educational programs related to Alaska’s transportation history.
