Winter Park alone boasts more than 600 miles of marked and mapped trails so you know you can find one with your name on it in Grand County!

When the snow falls, the biking doesn’t stop. Fat bikes with their oversized tires can be found on designated, groomed Nordic trails at locations like Devil’s Thumb Ranch, Latigo Ranch, and the YMCA of the Rockies Snow Mountain Ranch. Riders can also explore hundreds of miles of trails or hire a guide to navigate the serene, snowy landscape.

Spring – Scenic Gravel Grinds 
As the snow melts, miles of gravel and dirt roads offer the perfect opportunity for early-season rides. It’s an ideal way to break out the bike, take in the views of Grand County’s awakening landscape, and prepare for the summer trail season without damaging soft trails.

Summer – Lift-Served Thrills & Expansive Trails
Grand County transforms into a mountain biking mecca in the summer. Ski slopes become downhill trails, with lifts giving riders a scenic and easy ascent. Trestle Bike Park at Winter Park offers over 40 miles of trails, from beginner to double-black diamond. Bike Granby Ranch provides more than 30 miles of its own, while Devil’s Thumb Ranch and YMCA of the Rockies offer extensive cross-country trail systems. With over 600 miles of marked and mapped trails, Winter Park alone solidifies the area as a top summer biking hub.
