The New England Air Museum in Windsor Locks CT is a go-to summer destination for families with a series of unique events and special promotions. With exclusive aircraft viewings, interactive simulators, and engaging concerts, there’s an array of activities for everyone to explore.

Special Promotion: Kids Half Off! Throughout July, children under 3 receive free admission, and children aged 4-14 get half off admission. It’s the perfect time to visit and explore all the museum has to offer.

Saturday, July 20, 10 AM—3 PM—Free Simulators! Experience the thrill of flight with our NEW kid-friendly simulators. Take a ride in our F-18, Redbird, VR sim, and more. This event is first-come, first-served and requires general admission.

Saturday, July 27 & Sunday, July 28, 10 AM—3 PM: A-10 Cockpit Viewing. Take a peek inside the cockpit of our A-10 aircraft. While direct access to the cockpit is not available, this unique viewing experience offers an intimate look at the interior. It is included with general admission.

Thursday, August 1, 6 PM – 8 PM – 102D Army Band Concert. Enjoy an evening of music with the 102D Army Band at the New England Air Museum. This family-friendly concert is perfect for all ages and promises to be an enjoyable night for everyone.

Soar into Summer Fun—Wednesdays–Sundays, 10:30 AM—2:30 PM. From June 26 to August 17, 2024, enjoy family-friendly drop-in programs every Wednesday through Sunday. These programs are included with general admission and offer a variety of engaging activities.
