River, the otter, is celebrating his one-year “birthday” as the official mascot welcoming families to the tubing and snow play areas at Dodge Ridge Mountain Resort. A river otter was selected as the mascot because of the numerous otter sightings by the mountain crew throughout the years. Known for their playful antics and endearing personalities, river otters are celebrated for their sleek fur, expressive eyes, and the masterful way they navigate both land and water.
