An early taste of winter hit our town (Denver) this week, perfect for trying out two new pairs of travel pants from Mountain Khakis and Royal Robbins, two of the best travel clothiers around.
New from Mountain Khakis: It’s the brand’s best-selling pant of all time, now available as a hybrid: The Teton Hybrid. Over the years, thousands of customers have given the Teton Pant a five-star rating.
At Mountain Khakis, they’re thrilled to introduce this favorite pant in all-new stretch performance fabric. Lightweight, breathable, moisture-wicking, and easy-care, this fabric offers the ultimate in all-day comfort. Transition effortlessly through your day, whether you’re bouncing around breweries, going for a sharp yet comfortable weekend vibe, or making the most out of your casual office dress code. Pair the Teton Hybrid with your favorite polo and elevate your game with Mountain Khakis. Retail price: $100.
Meanwhile, from Royal Robbins, the Alpine Mountain Pro Winter Pant is a high-performance fleece-lined hiking and climbing pant. It is designed for alpine starts or frigid nights at base camp. It’s water-repellent, keeps you warm in the cold, but works equally well indoors. I also like the cinch-cords at the bottom to keep the cuffs from picking up snow. Retail $125.
I wore both of these in the snow this week and plan to continue to wear them through out the cold months, including an upcoming adventure to see the Northern Lights in Norway.
