It’s not too late to plan a Spring Getaway. In fact, According to CheapOair, one of the world’s leading online travel agencies, families as well as those traveling without kids are waiting to book less than a month in advance. Growing numbers want to take a road trip, camping or RVing along the way, though that may change giving the sudden spikes in gas prices.

Spring break doesn’t have to mean fighting crowds in Barcelona or elbowing through the Louvre. A growing number of Americans are going deeper into Europe this season — and spending less doing it. 5. ARIZONA IN SPRING

At least game tickets can be a bargain with some teams offering lawn tickets as low as $15, though tickets for more popular teams typically cost more. Another plus, with such affordable tickets, no worries if the kids don’t want to stay until the end. the weather, the food, the Grand Canyon and of course Spring Training. But this is high season and hotels near the stadiums are pricey. Stay in surrounding cities like Tempe, Mesa or Glendale for better rates, the Arizona Republic suggests. Treat yourself for a few days at a resort with lots of water features and family activities, like the Fairmont Princess. You also have plenty of festivals to choose from including the annual Arizona Dragon Boat Festival (March 28-29) , Arizona Bike Week (April 8-12) and Arizona Restaurant Week (May 15-24).

6. FLORIDA

The Sunshine State is always a top spring break option for the beach, Orlando theme parks, space exploration and much more. At the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex (from March 9 through May 24, 2026 ) guests can purchase adult admission at the kids’ price of $67 plus tax with the new Adult at Kids Rate offer. In Philadelphia, the Museum of the American Revolution is celebrating Women’s History Month by featuring women’s roles in the nation’s founding. There are 13 National Parks focused on women’s history. For example, In Richmond California, celebrate the 18 million women who worked in shipyards and factories building ships, planes and munitions during World War II at the Rosie the Riveter-World War II Home Front National Historic Park.  They proved women could excel at traditionally physically demanding male jobs, but when the war ended, they were expected to return to homemaking and relinquish their jobs to returning soldiers.
