Over 5,700 federal staff have been eliminated and funding is being cut resulting in trails eroding, habitats shrinking, and public access cut off.Your support is needed now more than ever to protect these places! We are in urgent need of volunteers on projects across National Forests, National Wildlife Refuges, Bureau of Land Management sites and other federally managed public lands.

Now is the time to sign up for a Volunteer Vacation!

To meet this moment and step up where our federal land management partners need the most support , we’re providing a special one time only reduced cost ($250) for the trips below for new registrations. Everyone should have the opportunity to protect our public lands. Join American Hiking Society’s Volunteer Vacations and spend a week restoring trails and preserving these vital landscapes. No experience is needed.
