Many restaurants in any of the coastal towns of the Riviera Nayarit in Mexico will be serving the traditional American Thanksgiving meal of turkey, pumpkin pie, and cranberry sauce.

Thanks to the excellence of its cuisine and service, seven restaurants are in the eighth edition of “Guía México Gastronómico. Los Grandes Restaurantes de México 2023.” El Delfín at the Garza Canela hotel in San Blas, and Emiliano Cocina y Vino in Tepic. For the second consecutive year also Loma 43 in Tepic, Loma 42 Bahía in Nuevo Nayarit, Hectors Kitchen and Tuna Blanca in Punta de Mita. For the first time, Codex inside the Conrad Punta de Mita.

Nayarit has an array of places for you to enjoy any meal of the day, from the fine dining places to simple palapas by the beach, country food and traditional places. TheIsland of Mexcaltitán, believed to be birthplace of Mexicas or Aztecs, they can find very traditional Nayarit dishes like: camarones cucaracha, taxtihuil decamarón and fresh sea food in an island surrounded by mangroves. By the beaches of San Blas and Santiago Ixcuintla enjoy a red snapper zarandeado, hand made tortillas, as well as the typical shrimp aguachile with a touch of spiciness.

November brings great events, like the 28th edition of the Festival Gourmet International, being able to taste the different restaurants that have their own festival.
