The Travel & Adventure Show will open the 2024 season in Chicago Jan. 13-14, marking its 19th year at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center.

With travel demand surpassing pre-pandemic numbers, travel experts are advising consumers to start booking their 2024 vacation plans this winter. With special deals and promotional prices available right on the show floor, the Travel & Adventure Shows are an opportunity for travel enthusiasts to discover and book their 2024 trips with insider access to over 400 local and international destinations, hotels, cruises and tour operators all at their fingertips.

New this year, the Chicago Travel & Adventure Show has teamed up with Questar Entertainment’s GoTraveler Network for an exciting live pitch competition to discover and nurture the next big TV show idea for travel entertainment. The grand prize is a TV show development deal for the chosen travel star. Entries are open here now through Dec. 8, with finalists invited to present their pitch ideas live at the Travel & Adventure Show on Sunday, Jan. 14. Judges include travel entertainment stars Pamela Holt and Colleen Kelly, as well as Christine Drinan, CEO of Galavante.

Following popular demand in 2023, the Dive and Water Sports and LGBTQ Pavilions return for a second year at the Chicago show. At the Dive Pavilion, destinations and tour operators will come together to promote the most exciting watersport activities and inspire a new generation of divers by showing them the world that awaits under the sea. The LGBTQ Pavilion will focus on LGBTQ-friendly destinations, tour operators and travel agencies. Attendees will be able to discover destinations that have up-and-coming LGBTQ scenes and speak to representatives who can answer questions and personalize specialty itineraries.
