US airlines suspend trips to Israel

US airlines have temporarily halted trips to Israel due to ongoing hostilities in the region. Ben Gurion International Airport is in the war zone.

“We will continue to monitor the situation with safety and security top of mind and will adjust our operation as needed,” American said in a statement.

Delta noted ongoing efforts “to safely transport Delta people back to the US and will work with the US government as needed to assist with the repatriation of US citizens.”

United announced that “operations to TLV will be suspended until conditions allow them to resume.”
