Europe’s largest live outdoor Diwali performance show, Diwali on Trafalgar Square, is the highlight of London’s celebrations, organized each year by the Mayor of London. The packed program starts at 1pm on Sunday October 29.

The Diwa lighting at 2:10pm will followed by a variety of performances showcasing Indian culture, including various types of dance such as Bharatanatyam, and an Assamese and Bengali Fusion Dance.

The National Maritime Museum also hosts a public festival on November 11, and for the second year in a row, has invited Mehala Ford, founder of South Asian arts platform COMMONGROUND& to curate the Diwali celebration at the Museum. The theme of the celebration this year is a celebration of the light within all of us, highlighting creativity, joy and well-being.
