The Premier League is known to attract thousands of fans to their games. Those catching a Chelsea game typically plan at least a day, if not two, to experience what West London has to offer. It’s known for its theatre, shopping, iconic sights, and exquisite cuisine. You’ll have to make a list of must-see places. Luckily, we’ve created that list for you to look back at the next time you find yourself in West London.

See a Show

The theatre scene is unlike any other in London’s West End. With musicals, comedies, classic plays, and more there is certainly something for everyone here. You can find more than 40 theatres within the district, all of which are showing different performances.

Check Out a Film

If watching films is more interesting to you, the West End can offer you quite a few. Within Leicester Square, you can view some of the best films that have recently been released and perhaps see a Hollywood star during the many premieres they hold.

There are several cinemas you can head to such as Odeon Leicester Square, Regent Street Cinema, Prince Charles Cinema, and more.

Shopping

The shopping in West London is unlike anywhere else. If you’re looking for a specific item or store, the West End most likely has it at one of their 80 plus stores. You can find a majority of these shops on Oxford Street or Regent Street. More high-end boutiques and designers such as Chanel can be found exclusively along Bond Street.

On the contrary, if smaller shops and cafes are where you prefer, you can find these at St. Christopher’s Place.

Grab a Bite to Eat

After all of this exploring you may find yourself a bit hungry. With more than enough Michelin star restaurants to inexpensive food options, the dining choices in the West End are plentiful. If you’re looking for high-end dining at a Michelin-starred restaurant you can make a reservation at Hakkasan Hanway Place, Veeraswamy, or Alyn Williams at The Westbury.

But after catching a Chelsea game you may be more interested in more laid-back dining establishments. Restaurants such as Bubba Gump Shrimp, Planet Hollywood, and Hard Rock Cafe can also be found in West London, along with many more delicious choices.

Entertainment

The nightlife scene is just as flourishing as the daytime in West London. From casinos such as the Hippodrome Casino or catching a comedy act at The Comedy Store, you definitely won’t find yourself bored. There are numerous rooftop bars to enjoy the rest of your night at or if you’d like to end your night dancing, Tiger Tiger or Cafe de Paris, is where you’ll want to go.

West London is a large area with so much to do, you won’t have time to do it all. It’s the perfect place to catch a game with plenty of other entertainment options to offer before and after.
