Already a popular pastime – and passion – for some 45 million Americans, bird-watching soared in popularity during the pandemic. Now, pent-up travel demand is sending birders far afield in search of special and rare species.

In response to a surge in requests for experiences with a feathered focus, popular Jackson Hole WY safari tour company Wildlife Expeditions of Teton Science Schools has created a new Grand Teton National Park 3 Nights of Adventure package.

It is available with a bird-watching emphasis tailored to avian enthusiasts in one of the country’s top wild destinations for bird viewing, as well as offering their decades of local expertise on best opportunities for spying elk, moose, grizzly bears, black bears, wolves, bison, mule deer, foxes, eagles and more.

The Grand Teton National Park 3 Nights of Adventure with a birding focus is available June 26-29 and July 2-5, 2023. The 4-day, 3-night itinerary begins with a welcome dinner, concludes with a farewell breakfast, and includes two full-day bird and wildlife tours. Up to nine guests ride comfortably in a specially customized Mercedes Benz safari vehicle with roof hatches for optimal viewing. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included on the two touring days, with stops along the way for snacks, drinks, short walks, scenic photo opportunities and hands-on, in-the-wild learning opportunities. At night, guests enjoy rustic-comfort accommodations at the Teton Science Schools Kelly Campus in Grand Teton National Park. The 3-night birding adventure is $1,650 per person (double occupancy). Family rooms come with bunk beds, and single occupancy rooms are available at a special rate. Call 877.404.6626 or email info@wildilfeexpeditions.org to arrange a personalized birding adventure.
