One of the special delights of having a young adult daughter is the chance to indulge in spa treatments together. Madeleine is all about clean living. She is a yoga teacher who trained and earned her teaching certification in Thailand. While in Southeast Asia, she learned to love spa treatments of all sorts. In that sense, she is certainly her mother’s daughter.

Even if your child is still an actual child, the Grand Palladium Bávaro Suites Resort & Spa offers manicures, pedicures and hair braiding just for the little ones. Of course, the Palladium has such an extensive kids’ club, this might be just the right time for some adult-only pampering after you drop them off.

For a young adult like my daughter, there’s an array of offerings on the spa menu. Although our time spent on the gorgeous beach was ultra-relaxing, we decided a spa treatment was well deserved.

Zentropía Spa is Big and Beautiful

The Zentropía Palladium Spa & Wellness facility is all about relaxing and replenishing your mind, body and soul. Guests may restore their energy, wellbeing and equilibrium with an indulgent spa experience.

Featuring some of the largest spa & wellness centers in the Caribbean, Palladium offers sumptuous spa options for a rejuvenating experience. Even if massages are not your cup of tea, you may relax in a dry or wet sauna, vapor bath, eco-meditative cold bath or Jacuzzi.

In addition, plenty of beauty treatments like manicures, makeup services and hair treatments are perfect if you want to glam up an evening on the beach. With so many couples choosing to have destination weddings, these beauty services are popular with brides and bridal parties.

Use The Spa Facilities For a Bargain Price

If a treatment is out of your price range, all Palladium guests may use the spa facilities for a $10 per day fee. This is a genuine bargain that allows you to spend the entire day enjoying the spa facilities. The lovely and tranquil swimming pool and Zen-like spa café with an array of healthy snack and beverages feel like a sanctuary. Best of all, they can be yours without spending big money on a service.

Onwards To the Massage

Madeleine and I luxuriated with side-by-side massages. We both booked a classic massage rooted in the Swedish technique, but we could have selected a hot stone, shiatsu, aromatherapy or even a foot massage. Facials, exfoliating treatments and body wraps were also on the extensive menu.

Our massages were so relaxing. Our massage therapists were wonderful. The atmosphere was too blissful to leave, so we spent much of the afternoon loafing by the pool sipping healthy vegetable juices.

It was the perfect end to a successful mother-daughter Punta Cana getaway.
