Skiers and snowboarders do not like overcrowded trails, bottlenecks and long lines at the lifts. To help skiers navigate the slopes, new ski app Snonav recently launched a free image004.jpgheat mapping feature that allows users to receive critical updates of mountain crowds and activity.  Snonav’s real-time tracking alerts users to resort hot spots and provides automatic evaluation of live flow status and bottlenecks. Snonav skiers can easily view if there is high activity on certain trails or lift areas and then can receive rerouting suggestions to help avoid lines and crowds on the slopes.
